Cell Retreat 26-28 Dec 2008

WOW! jessica had her hoildays! :D hahahas!
went for cell retreat on the 26-28 dec 2008.
had loads of fun during the game sessions and thus, enjoyed myself many many! :D
learnt some new stuff and was reminded of many things that i have learnt in the past. ((:

encountered God once again and was touched by the Holy Spirit. there's breakthrough even as 2008 is coming to an end. my grandpa's death definitely wasn't something easy for me to accept it and there were many things that i keep telling myself i have to do eg. be strong. God revealed things like:

1. the photo of my grandparents which i take it with my everyday,
2. the busy schedule,
3. striving to be strong but not through God''s strength.

i would always take a look at the photo which i kept and pray for my grandfather. but, i will moan over it again and again as i pray which, is no good.
i didnt get to rest well enough with my busy schedule every week. as a result, i compromised my morning devotion with God.
striving to be strong in flesh was something that's even tiring. i kept telling myself that i have to be strong as my grandma needs me now also, hoping that i can bring light to her. but because i didnt draw strength from God, i find it really tiring.

and yes! everything's the PAST now! i have let it GO and let GOD to handle it! :D because it's a breakthrough, a great breakthrough, i am able and ready to share it now. i didnt/wouldnt a lot on my grandapa death in the past. i want to give thanks to God and indeed, He is an awesome God! All glory to You, Lord! ((:

another thanksgiving will be the presence of my two girls, Waiyin and Cherie. ((: having them around with me in this camp really helps and it encourages me a lot as a leader. it also helps in my discernment in God's voice and to be hungry for God. i am really thankful to our heavenly Father. hope that they have learnt new things of God and of themselves through this retreat ((: and, Cherie's baptism definitely was and is a blessing. :D same goes to Claire. it's really a touching sight to be able to see the younger ones baptised (: thank God for the opportunity to talk to her parents and being able to see her family. i believe there's a breakthrough in her family! AMEN!

talking so much on the personal level, there's small breakthrough in my cell level also ((: had a small chit-chatting session on the second day night, mid-night/early morning. hahas. so cool right! WAHAHAHAHAs! :P
